Join us for a guided tour and experience this 4,700-square-foot Victorian Mansion. Plus, experience its never-before-seen updated Carriage House (c. 1909-1913). Built by William Waters in 1869 for William Doe, The Doe House is now the oldest William Waters home still standing. The Doe House was saved by Doe’s 3x great-granddaughter, Rebecca Doe Brown and her family, who expertly restored the historic home working with Terry Laib of Laib Restoration. Now a boutique lodge, The Doe House is a shining example of the power of historic preservation. Light refreshments to follow.
Ticket includes one general admission/ticket-holder to the Oshkosh Public Museum for Saturday-Sunday May 6-7.
Please note, the house is 150 years old and has multiple sets of stairs which are not easily accessible for those with limited mobility. Contact us at [email protected] or 903-915-0091 for specific accessibility questions.
Parking available near the Oshkosh Public Library and Downtown YMCA.
